About Us

Welcome to the SynthID Detector Guide. This site is an independent educational resource dedicated to helping users navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-generated media verification.

Our Mission

With the release of Google's public SynthID Detector in October 2026, the ability to identify AI-generated images, audio, and video became broadly accessible. However, understanding exactly how these tools work, what their limits are, and what a "positive" or "negative" result actually proves remains confusing for the general public. Our mission is to demystify these technical concepts.

Who We Are

This site is authored and maintained by Alex, an independent technical researcher and web developer with a focus on artificial intelligence, digital forensics, and media authenticity.

Please note: We are entirely independent and have absolutely no affiliation with Google, DeepMind, or Alphabet Inc. We do not host or operate the actual detection software; we simply provide guides on how to properly interpret results from the official synthid.com portal.
